Drones

mb+Partner regularly uses a wide variety of flight test vehicles and does research on their suitability to operate on the mobile take-off and landing system.

Besides the the R3600 drone developed by mb+Partner, we have partnered with several other companies and research institutions to test their drones in combination with our mobile runway. We also offer to customize your drone! In addition, we provide several drone accessories.

R3600 by mb+Partner

The R3600 is based on a cost-effective fixed-wing airframe with excellent handling qualities and a proven track-record. Compared to VTOLs and copter style drones, the R3600 features significantly improved performance characteristics.

The R3600 Internal Combustion Engine features more than 300 minutes of flight time, over 400 km range as well as remote start and stop capabilities of the engine. This is the classic version of the UAV, which already includes all our advanced avionics systems and transmission of telemetry & video feed (FPV/payload).

Customization of your drone

We take great pleasure in working with you on your advanced drone systems for retrofitting them to our ground-based launch and landing system. Get the most out of your fixed-wing drones by removing landing gear, optimizing aerodynamics (e.g. by using otherwise prohibitively large wingspans which would facilitate wingstrikes in normal operation) and full automation in the most remote parts of the world.

Drone Accessories

Besides our ground-based launch and landing system, we also offer systems that purely launch your UAV using low-G technology that can be deployed anywhere with competitive costs.

With our partners, we offer top-of-the-line ground control stations for simultaneous remote piloting of the mobile runway as well as dozens of drones.

Bungee Launcher

The bungee launcher is an easily transportable, quick to set up and cost-effective alternative to launching with pneumatic or hydraulic systems for fixed-wing drones in the 100kg class.

The ropes, which are automatically tensioned by a winch to match the weight of the drone, accelerate at approx. 2G and are triggered by hand control, radio, cellular or satellite.

The launch, which takes place within 25m of rails, is therefore gentle on the aircraft and launcher. Wear and tear is minimized even in the most adverse conditions. The total weight of the launch system is less than 200kg.

Ground control station

In addition to an integrated version for remote pilots in a central command facility, we offer fully mobile ground control stations with our partners.
